Sorting solution

Sort correctly in the long term

The Dutch Vanriet Group has developed two comprehensive intralogistics systems for the logistics service provider Geis. Both solutions have a similar structure, form the core of the sorting operations and are part of the modernization of the Geis logistics centers in Modletice near Prague and Lodz in Poland.

The closed surface of the sorter prevents waste from getting inside and causing disruption; it also makes the system quieter. The HC sorter can process different parcels weighing up to 50 kilograms at a maximum speed of three meters per second. The parcels are fed into the sorter by means of 16 telescopic transporters, which merge into two main lines at high speed. At peak times, up to 16,000 parcels are processed per hour. pb
