Narrow with good visibility
The Combi-WR4 from Combilift is a hand-guided reach forklift for safe narrow aisle use. It is the only device of its kind that can work in aisle widths of 2.10 meters, says the manufacturer.
A key feature is the multi-position tiller head, developed and patented by Combilift, which steers the truck's powered rear wheel parallel to the forks at the touch of a button, with the tiller remaining in the right or left position. When placing and removing loads in narrow aisles, the operator remains at the side of the Combi-WR4 instead of between the truck and the racking, as is the case with conventional pedestrian stackers.
The risk of entrapment or crushing is therefore eliminated. Thanks to this lateral position, the operator does not need to look through the mast (as with conventional pedestrian stackers) and therefore has a good view of the forks, the load and the working environment. This ensures maximum safety. With the advantages of AC drive technology in the drive, pump and steering motors, the truck has a load capacity of 1,450 kilograms and is available with different lift heights.
