Inform presents Felios | PM at Logimat 2018. The new platform for project management in mechanical and plant engineering is a cross-divisional project planning tool that can map the entire value chain within a company. The manual consolidation of countless, often redundant data from different sources is no longer necessary, significantly increasing the reliability and informative value of the data. Based on the central data pool, a real-time alert system warns of impending planning conflicts well in advance. This helps companies to improve their delivery reliability and to plan their orders simply and realistically across departments.
"The new Felios | PM is primarily tailored to the needs of assembly-oriented companies in mechanical and plant engineering," explains Markus Günther, Product Manager Felios. "We have thus developed a new approach to project management in this industry, because until now each area of production has usually used its own independent tool," says Andreas Gladis, Head of the Production division and member of the Inform management board.
The shared database for all areas means that manual data reconciliation is no longer necessary. The system makes the individual effects of a change on the overall planning directly visible and proactively reports any bottlenecks.
With just one click, it is also possible to organize appointments and automatically provide all data. cs
