Pallet tipper

Tilting with room for improvement

Baust Materialflusssysteme has redesigned its PW 800 pallet tipper. The pallet changer now has a freely adjustable tipping angle of up to 135 degrees and therefore also enables the safe repalletizing of big bags and bagged goods.

Other requirements included a purely electric main drive, precise centering in all directions and the possibility of later integration into a conveyor line with little effort. Design manager Sven Lorry is satisfied with the results achieved with the new PW 800: "Thanks to the electric drive and the pneumatics installed, we are able to reduce noise emissions to a minimum and at the same time dispense with critical operating materials such as hydraulic oil in the system. In addition, all movements can be carried out quickly and gently thanks to frequency control.

With the PW 800, Baust is further expanding its product portfolio of pallet changers without hydraulic drive. The manufacturer also offers the option of a later inline version. With just a few modifications, the automated stand-alone machine can be transformed into a fully automated pallet changing system with conveyor technology. The feed height is then located directly at the subsequent conveyor height and allows loading and unloading with a forklift or ant. as
