The ladder can go
Jungheinrich presents the latest generation of its EKM 202 small parts order picker. One of the most important developments compared to the previous model is the more than doubled load capacity of the truck, which is particularly suitable for picking all types of small parts without pallets.
In addition to the 100 kilogram load capacity on the top shelf, the EKM has a second storage compartment with capacity for a further 115 kilograms. Additional storage compartments on the mast provide the necessary storage space for work materials. Thanks to the AC drive, the vehicle reaches a maximum speed of eight kilometers per hour in order to quickly reach the next pick location during order picking operations. The 120 amp-hour lithium-ion battery provides enough energy for long and intensive operations.
The vehicle has warning zone lights to mark danger areas for use in stores with public traffic. The lights activate automatically when the driver's cab is raised and mark an area around the vehicle. The EKM guarantees safe entry and exit thanks to an automatic door lock. Jungheinrich offers the truck with guide rollers for use in narrow aisles or on shelving racks. Thanks to its extendable mast, the EKM 202 can reach a reach height of up to 5.30 meters. The EKM is an alternative to the classic ladder, particularly for use in stores. pb
