New sit-on pallet trucks
Linde completes portfolio renewal
Linde offers new sit-on pallet trucks in the 1.2 to 2.5 tonne load capacity range. The company is thus completing the renewal of its driver's seat and stand-on pallet truck portfolio with low and high lift trucks and double-deck loaders and now has a total of 19 models on the market.
"We aim to align our equipment as closely as possible with our customers' processes. But these are changing," explains Toufik Oussou, Product Manager Warehouse Trucks at Linde Material Handling. This is why the product range of low and high lift trucks has been successively renewed and expanded over the past year and a half. The third and final stage now consists of sit-on pallet trucks in the 1.2 to 2.5 tonne load capacity range.
Comfort and visibility
You have a chassis that gives the operator a high degree of freedom of movement with a width of 970 millimetres. There is also a comfortable driver's seat (also available with seat heating and headrest on request), which prevents premature fatigue. Tipcontrol is designed to ensure fast and precise load handling: the driver controls all fork and mast functions with his thumb and index finger; movements can be carried out precisely even when wearing work gloves. The warehouse trucks have been designed especially for use in extensive logistics and production areas.
In addition, the new T20/25 RW low lift pallet trucks, D12 RW double-deck loaders and L14/16 RW high lift pallet trucks (R = driver's seat, W = wide/wide version) have the option of raising or lowering the forks while the truck is in motion, thereby speeding up the retrieval and storage process.
Added to this is the high seating position of the driver and the view provided by the visibility-optimized lift mast profiles. This gives the driver a good view of the route and load. Linde Load Management is recommended wherever heavy and frequently changing loads are moved. The assistance system shows the operator the most important load data on a color display. This means the operator always knows the current weight on the load arms and the lifting height up to which the load can be lifted without risk.
Lead-acid or lithium-ion
The sit-on pallet trucks draw their drive energy either from lead-acid batteries or the package consisting of a lithium-ion battery and decentralized charger for fast intermediate charging. The Connect fleet management system is also available for all devices. The modular data system regulates access to the vehicle, records vibrations and analyses vehicle usage in order to subsequently derive optimizations for use.
Depending on the application, the pallet trucks offer additional features. The Linde D12 RW double-deck loaders with a load capacity of 1.2 tons, for example, have Linde Speed Management on board. When transporting two pallets, the assistance system calculates the maximum speed up to which safe working is guaranteed, depending on the load on the main lift. In this way, handling performance and safety can be increased.
Other special features include different mast versions with a lifting height of up to 6.2 meters and a quick lift function to increase the lifting speed by up to 33 percent if required, according to the company. As in the case of the double-deck loader, the Bluespot is also available for the Linde L14 RW and L16 RW high lift trucks with a load capacity of 1.4 and 1.6 tons; for use in poorly lit working environments, the T20 RW and T25 RW low lift trucks can also be equipped with powerful front headlights. as
