Digitalization poses challenges for manufacturers, retailers and freight forwarders, and a smooth material flow is becoming increasingly important. With the Xetto from Hoerbiger, goods can be handled and moved quickly and easily in warehouses and production thanks to its ergonomic design. The new, ergonomically optimized operating unit and the flexibly mountable ramp now make loading and unloading even easier.

Speed is of the essence: this applies from work preparation through production to the delivery of finished products, i.e. for the entire process chain in merchandise management. Simple handling is essential when materials have to be transported from one station in the chain to the next. A requirement for which the Xetto supports users from industry, trade and logistics. At the heart of the mobile transport aid is a hydraulic lifting device for loads weighing up to 250 kilograms. Goods can thus be transported easily and efficiently, and can also be lifted up to working height in a way that is gentle on health and saves energy.

New operating unit and ramp

In order to meet the ergonomic needs of users, the Xetto now has a second control unit at the height of the handle. According to the manufacturer, this makes the transport system easier and more intuitive to operate - regardless of position. All functions are controlled completely electronically. For example, when loading: In the first step, the Xetto lifts its load to the intended height. The loading platform is then extended using a telescopic rail and set down in a transporter or on a loading ramp. Now the floor assembly is lifted and pushed under the Xetto's loading area.

Unloading is just as easy: The hydraulic lifting device, which is located in the transport position under the Xetto, is pulled out and extended using a telescopic rail. As soon as it has gained a firm footing on the lower surface, the freight can be easily unloaded and moved to its destination.

It takes just 30 seconds to assemble and disassemble the removable handle with the second operating unit for space-saving storage of the Xetto. Another new feature is the aluminum loading ramp, which is available as an original accessory. It was specially developed to push rollable loads onto the loading area with ease. The ramp can optionally be hooked into the front or side of the airline rail on the edge of the cargo bed. This ensures additional safety when loading and unloading. as
