Jungheinrich therefore places the issue of safety for people and warehouses permanently at the forefront. Assistance systems can help to identify critical situations in advance and thus minimize the risk of accidents. With Zonecontrol and Addedview, the company offers two assistance systems that both increase safety in the warehouse and improve the efficiency of warehouse processes.

Radio-based assistance system
Zonecontrol is a radio-based assistance system. It consists of a stationary radio anchor, a mobile component on the vehicle including a display and a module for people. In addition to warnings for vehicles and people at blind spots, it can also be used to control traffic junctions so that the maximum speed is reduced to creep speed when there is a high volume of vehicles in this area.

The same radio anchor can also be connected to the control of a hall door so that it opens when an authorized vehicle approaches and remains closed for unauthorized vehicles. The driver of the respective vehicle receives a message on the vehicle's assistance display, but can also be reduced to creep speed. In addition, traffic lights or warning lights can also be connected to the radio anchor to provide information to the surrounding area.

Zonecontrol can be flexibly adapted to the respective requirements in the warehouse. The system can also be used for existing vehicles, regardless of manufacturer. All functions can be covered with the same components. According to the manufacturer, this means that for the first time it can be easily adapted in the event of changes to the warehouse or an expansion of the fleet.

Zonecontrol does not require a central control unit. There is also no need to set up a separate server network. Each individual radio anchor can be configured individually. This enables a situation-specific and precise improvement in safety at critical points in the warehouse without compromising efficiency.

All-round view system from digital cameras
Addedview is an all-round vision system consisting of digital cameras. It is particularly suitable as an assistance system for counterbalance trucks. The digital camera technology can react particularly well to difficult lighting situations by dynamically adjusting the exposure parameters. Highly overexposed or underexposed images, for example in the case of light/dark transitions between the outside and inside areas of the warehouse, are thus avoided and the driver always receives a brilliant image of his surroundings.

In addition, the use of digital cameras allows the image streams from the four individual cameras to be combined into a single image in real time and converted in such a way that the driver can see their vehicle from a bird's eye view. In particular, the fork tips and the rear weight are precisely integrated into the seamless image. This all-round view enables the driver to navigate safely and quickly, even in tight, confusing situations. as
