Modular and mobile slewing jib crane

Vetter Krantechnik has converted its mobile slewing jib crane "Mobilus" to a new concept.

Various transport options and fast commissioning are refinements that make the mobile crane a flexible helper. The standard locking mechanism for the jib ensures safe transportation. The crane base can be lifted using forklift pockets with a forklift truck or pulled with a forklift truck using a drawbar and coupling system. The crane can also be attached using lifting eyes and transported with an indoor crane, and of course it can still be moved manually using the integrated trolley.

Modular principle
A new feature of the design is the modular principle, in which the newly developed crane base made of concrete rings can be combined with different crane variants. Depending on requirements, the customer can choose the standard crane with 360 degree slewing range or opt for the 270 degree variant with overhead jib or lightweight jib made of aluminum profile.

The "Mobilus" is also available as a versatile handling crane with an articulated jib. This means that virtually all options are open to the user. If the application changes over the years, the crane base can be extended with additional concrete rings within the maximum parameters and the crane attachment can be replaced. dsc
