MiR200 transport robot

One robot, many transportation options

At Logimat, Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) will be showcasing specific applications for the MiR200 autonomous transport robot: the company will be demonstrating how pallets can be transported and how a seamless flow of goods between static production systems and traditional conveyor belts can be achieved.

MiR's intralogistics solutions open up opportunities for companies to redefine interfaces between skilled workers, work equipment and robots. This allows resources to be deployed in a targeted manner, processes to be optimized and qualified employees to be relieved. "Our aim is to meet the growing demand for individual automation solutions that are quickly ready for use, intuitive to operate and cost-effective," says Thomas Visti, CEO of MiR. "In addition to the increased load capacity of 200 kilograms and ESD conformity, the various add-on modules for the MiR200 are crucial. After all, they ensure the necessary adaptability of our dynamic robots."

Using the example of a MiR200 equipped with the MiRHook pulling system and a pallet fork, Mobile Industrial Robots demonstrates how pallets can be transported reliably and easily. A conveyor belt module mounted on another MiR200 demonstrates how a seamless flow of goods between static production systems and traditional conveyor belts can be achieved.

In an exhibited clamping system application with a docking function accurate to one millimeter, the MiR robot moves under a free-standing shelf, clamps onto it and lifts it independently for removal. The MiR trade fair presentation is rounded off by a shelving module that is perfect for transporting KLT boxes. The practical example is particularly suitable for interested parties who want to automate internal material flows of semi-finished products or workpieces in order to free employees from ergonomically unfavorable transport tasks.

At the same time, trade fair visitors can see the collaborative capabilities of the MiR robots for themselves. The powerful sensor technology of the transport assistants ensures smooth and safe cooperation between man and machine in everyday work. as
