Loading aid
End to the drudgery
Xetto loading and unloading systems. Hoerbiger has improved the multifunctional Xetto loading and unloading system. A new control unit and a new loading ramp ensure ergonomics and comfort.
How can materials, tools and spare parts be transported as efficiently as possible for an assembly appointment and how can loading and unloading be completed quickly? Craftsmen, fitters, trade and industry have to perform countless loading and unloading tasks every day. The Xetto mobile loading aid offers effective support here. It has a compact design and fits under the load in practically every van. Xetto can be loaded together with the transported goods by a single person in just a few simple steps and with little effort. Users can handle and transport loads of up to 250 kilograms without straining their backs and without too much effort. The key component of the loading system is a system of micro-hydraulics and kinematics developed by Hoerbiger. The newly developed hydraulic unit delivers a high power density. The Xetto's scissor system, electrics and lithium-ion power storage unit are compactly installed.
The loading system picks up the load like a transport trolley. It then becomes a pallet truck that lifts the load into the vehicle at a loading sill height of up to 80 centimetres. Xetto then "climbs" behind and takes its place under the load. Unloading is just as easy: Xetto drives out of the vehicle, gains a firm footing and becomes a pallet truck again for the last few meters. This means that a single person can handle the material.
In order to meet the ergonomic needs of users, the manufacturer has now equipped the Xetto system with a second control unit at the height of the handle. This upper control unit on the handle allows the loading platform to be raised and lowered without the user having to bend their knees. This makes it possible to work in an upright position without straining the back.
Another new feature is the aluminum loading ramp, which is available as an accessory. Hoerbiger developed it at the customer's request in order to push rollable loads comfortably and safely onto the loading area. The ramp can be hooked into the airline rails at the front or side of the loading area. pb
