Lithium-ion batteries
The right battery for everyone
Linde Material Handling is expanding its lithium-ion battery portfolio. In the payload range from two to 3.5 tons (Linde E20 to E35), in addition to the capacity classes with 24.1 and 60.3 kilowatt hours, there is now a larger battery variant with 84.6 kilowatt hours of capacity for energy-intensive three-shift applications, such as those found in the paper or beverage industry.
A new battery in the medium capacity range has been added in the 3.5 to five-tonne payload range. Here, Linde is closing the gap between the smaller (36.2 kilowatt hours) and the larger (118.4 kilowatt hours) battery with a 66.3 kilowatt hour battery. A second battery size with 64.7 kilowatt hours is available for the six- to eight-ton forklifts to supplement the previous battery with 118.4 kilowatt hours. All new batteries in the 90-volt voltage range are compatible with the nine, 17 or 30-kilowatt chargers on offer. The choice of charger also depends on the application requirements: If there is little time for charging, the station needs the appropriate power. If, on the other hand, the charging process may take longer, a smaller charger is sufficient. as
