Up with the cobot

SKF Motion Technologies will be showcasing its range of linear axes, ball screws and actuators and, as a highlight, the lift and slide kit, which allows users to extend the reach of their cobot. The action radius is usually limited by the length of the arm.

SKF has developed a portfolio of combinable actuators and lifting systems, including individual linear axis systems with which the working ranges of the cobots can be extended sevenfold, for example for pick-and-place applications. The Slidekit is a linear axis that moves the robot up to 1,800 millimetres. The Liftkit raises the base of the cobot to a height of up to 900 millimetres. Liftkit and Slidekit are plug-and-play solutions including all the necessary mechanical and electrical interfaces to the robot. They enable the user to put the system into operation after a short setup time. Packaging systems can be used more efficiently and economically - for example in packaging, filling and labeling machines. pb
