Vertical factory

Intralogistics is upside down

The intelligent and autonomous transport robots from Servus Intralogistics move overhead and across floors. They can be used to merge logistics and production into a single unit, connecting incoming goods, order picking, storage, production and outgoing goods without interfaces.

With Servus, a single system can take care of both warehouse and production logistics. The internal supply chain becomes a single unit and the process from order to delivery becomes a highly optimized and transparent process. This is because product and production data can be queried and evaluated in real time.

Servus transport robots bring the right material, in the right quantity, at the right time, to the right place according to the pull principle, significantly increasing throughput speed and reducing inventories. As Servus mainly moves overhead and across floors, the company is laying the foundations for the vertical factory. Due to the shortage of space and limited resources, the intralogistics of the future will only move "overhead".

Servus will also be showcasing material flow solutions for the plastics industry at Logimat. The Servus modular system for injection molding companies includes applications such as picking up bulk material at the machines, buffering in intermediate storage areas, direct filling of shipping cartons, Pal-Boxes or assembly machines and much more. Servus stands for lean logistics and Industry 4.0, and not just in the plastics industry. As the Servus modular system is a decentralized system, new processes and areas can be easily connected and performance and capacity can be easily scaled. as
