Smart Move in series
EK Automation offers automated series industrial trucks from renowned manufacturers for optimal material flow and warehouse solutions. With the Smart Move series, the specialist for transport robotics converts selected trucks from Linde MH and Jungheinrich for fully automated operation while retaining manual functionality and ergonomics.
This L14-20 and ERC 214 series comprises radar-assisted and cantilever low and high lift trucks, consisting of five vehicle types and a total of twelve models with a good 20 mast configurations. Depending on the product, the automated guided vehicles (AGVs) can reach a transfer height of up to 4.60 meters and a load capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms. They can travel at a maximum speed of six kilometers per hour in automatic mode and can be used at ground level - for conveyor technology, buffer storage, block storage and rack operation.
The special equipment developed by EK Automation for outdoor use is unique; users benefit from an uninterrupted production chain and seamless tracking of material and goods flows by connecting production halls and "driving across the yard". The control of these vehicles is tailored precisely to the respective environmental conditions. EK relies on hybrid navigation for this - i.e. the synchronous use of different navigation systems, for example contour navigation with and without reflectors, which can also be combined with magnetic navigation or inductive lane guidance.
