Management for small fleets
With the KT 106, I.D. Systems has introduced a management solution for small and medium-sized industrial truck fleets.
The new fleet management system celebrated its world premiere at this year's Logimat. The solution was developed and manufactured by I.D. Systems subsidiary Keytroller and is now designed to make even the smallest forklift fleets in production, distribution, logistics and retail companies more transparent, safer and more economical.
Only authorized drivers can log in to the 106 via pin code (optionally via RFID card) and must complete an electronic security checklist before starting their journey. Forced damage is displayed and logged and daily vehicle use is recorded. The 106 communicates all truck information and data easily via a Bluetooth direct connection to the fleet management app, which is installed on an iPad or iPhone. This means that no complex, cost-intensive IT infrastructure is required.
The new, manufacturer-independent fleet management solution should be available from early summer 2018. Dealers are currently being sought in several European countries. as
