Intermediate Bulk Container
Hygienic, safe, reusable
The intermediate bulk containers with plastic pallet from Auer Packaging offer a volume of 1,000 liters, low tare weight fluctuation, are reusable and optionally available with UN approval for the transport of hazardous goods.
For around forty years, plastic intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) have been the practical alternative to steel drums when it comes to storing and transporting large quantities of liquids or granulates. The benefits of these containers for the chemical, food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries are obvious: perfectly stackable, an IBC container can save up to 20 percent space compared to storage in drums, depending on the design.
Construction
The IBC Container Classic with a capacity of 1,000 liters is stable and can be easily cleaned and reused after use. Thanks to the stable outer frame with welded and galvanized metal tubes and the integrated pallet, the IBC container is suitable for conveyor belts and can be stored securely both on high shelves and outdoors. The sizes of the filling opening and the outlet fitting can be selected as required. The outlet fitting is securely protected by a seal until the first dispensing, while a butterfly valve ensures precise dosing during dispensing. IBC containers with UN approval are also available as an option for transporting hazardous goods.
Safety and hygiene
The foldable IBC container/bag-in-box system consists of a sturdy, foldable plastic container with a snap-on lid and a disposable inliner bag. The sturdy construction can be easily folded up after use and transported to save space and is available for inliner bags with a volume of 500 and 1,000 liters. The smooth surfaces with rounded corners and edges ensure maximum hygiene. The cleaning effort is minimized by the use of disposable inliners, which are available both in the standard version made of food-safe material and in the aseptic version individually packaged in sterile bags. The matching filling bridge from Auer Packaging is ideal for filling the inliner pouches. as
