Hubtex expands production in Fulda
Hubtex is once again investing in the expansion of its company headquarters in Fulda and is constructing another production building and a new customer center by September 2018. In this way, the forklift manufacturer aims to meet the increasing demand for special vehicles and Industry 4.0 solutions.
The Flux, Maxx and DQ-X forklift truck series introduced with the opening of a new production hall in 2015 have become bestsellers. In combination with the ever-increasing number of incoming orders for Industry 4.0-capable special vehicles in the timber, aviation and final storage sectors, this has led to high utilization of production capacity. Hubtex is therefore expanding its headquarters in Fulda with a new production hall.
The approximately 1,130 square meter building will be used primarily for the construction of special vehicles for aviation and final disposal. In addition, an intermediate building will be constructed on an area of 260 square meters, which will contain functional rooms and a project office. Construction of the new hall is expected to be completed by the end of June 2018. "At the same time, we are also building a new customer center where we can develop and demonstrate individual solution concepts in close cooperation with users," explains Hans-Joachim Finger, Managing Director Sales and Purchasing at Hubtex.
New customer center
The customer center is scheduled for completion in September of this year. Individual detailed technical concepts are to be developed here in dialog with the users. To this end, the forklift manufacturer is equipping the ultra-modern new building with meeting rooms and a gallery on the upper floor as well as a catering area, function rooms and a training hall on the first floor. The 750 square meter customer center will also be used for dealer and product training, conferences, in-house exhibitions and project presentations. as
