Fully automatic baling of 420-kilo bales
The fully automatic VK 4212 channel baling press from HSM is suitable for industrial applications with medium material volumes, such as the printing and paper industry, bookbinderies, the processing industry, department stores and document shredding companies.
With a pressing force of 420 kilonewtons and a large feed opening of around 620 by 1,140 millimetres, the HSM VK 4212 is suitable for various materials with a bulk weight of up to 60 kilograms per cubic meter, such as paper, edge trimmings from printing or punching machines, cardboard, shredded material and film.
To integrate the baling press into automated industrial production processes, the manufacturer recommends continuous feeding of the baling press. Various options are available for this, such as conveyor belts or air feeding. The operating side is freely selectable and ensures a high degree of flexibility for the user. The baling process is controlled by a light barrier. Depending on the material, the highly compacted bale can weigh up to 420 kilograms, has a bale size of 700 x 800 x 600 to 1,200 millimetres and is held together by a fully automatic quadruple wire strapping system.
