Fashion logistics

From the warehouse directly onto the sales floor

With the Fast Fashion Container, Walther Faltsysteme has developed a solution for store logistics in the fashion industry. In the rollable and lockable containers, the clothing is protected from environmental influences and inspection. RFID codes and barcode labels ensure the traceability of goods.

Consisting of a pallet with castors, the folding ring and a lid, the fast fashion container offers a usable volume of 615 liters on a base area of 800 x 600 millimeters. The reusable plastic transport solution is equipped with a clothes rail for hanging garments as standard. Thanks to the transport solution's lockable door, there is no need for additional outer packaging for the garments. There is no need for cumbersome unpacking and reprocessing of clothing in the store.

Smooth-running, low-noise castors enable easy handling and fast transportation without additional loading aids, even in confined sales areas. The solution can also be used for transporting clothing in removal logistics or as a mobile checkroom at events, and the container is also optionally available in a basic size of 1,200 x 800 millimetres for particularly large consignments of goods, for example.

The pallets (with castors) and the lids (with clothes rail) can be stacked on top of each other alternately for return transportation of the container. The rings can be folded together and stored one behind the other in an assembled fast fashion container. The result is a reduction in total volume of up to 60 percent.

Cooperation with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences

The idea for the fast fashion container was developed in collaboration with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. Based on the students' designs, the specialist for foldable reusable transport packaging developed a prototype. "The aim of the collaboration was to bring a smart and high-quality transport solution for fashion logistics to the market," reports Oliver van Neerven, Project Manager at Walther. "Our expert knowledge and the suggestions of the students from the Textile and Clothing Technology department resulted in the Fast Fashion Container, a container that is perfectly tailored to the requirements of fashion logistics." as
