Whether it's packaging for food, drinks, cosmetics or other everyday products, consumers want environmentally friendly packaging and manufacturers and retailers are even more obliged to act as a result of the new Packaging Act in Germany and the EU Plastics Strategy. Offerings cover the entire process chain
Whether industrial or consumer goods - hardly any industry can do without the packaging industry. The key market segments of the process chain are represented at the trade fair: from packaging materials and packaging machines to packaging printing and finishing to logistics systems and services.

The trade fair focuses on the German packaging industry, but the trend towards internationalization is continuing. In 2018, 1,023 German and 621 international companies used this framework to present their products and services. Compared to 2016, the proportion of international exhibitors has risen from 32 to 38 percent.

Fachpack's product areas include packaging materials and supplies, packaging aids, packaging machines, labeling and marking technology, machines and equipment for packaging peripherals, packaging printing and finishing, intra- and packaging logistics as well as services for the packaging industry.

Forums and special shows invite visitors to further their education and deepen their knowledge of the various packaging topics.
