Ergonomic towing with three and four wheels
The new Hyster tow tractors with driver's seat increase productivity in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries. They are suitable for transporting materials to and from production lines.
The Hyster T7.0HS3 three-wheel tow tractor and the T8.0HS4 four-wheel tow tractor can tow loads of up to 7,000 kilograms and 8,000 kilograms respectively. Hyster points to power, high performance and maneuverability. "Because the automotive industry is very demand-driven, reliable and efficient industrial trucks are essential to optimize operational processes. This is the only way to meet the high just-in-time requirements," explains Tracy Brooks, Industry Solutions Group Manager at Hyster
Simple coupling of trailers
The compact design of both models, a roll-back lock and externally mounted buttons for creep speed control make it easy to couple trailers. The tractors also have adjustable acceleration and travel speeds that can be set by a service technician to meet different requirements.
"A number of ergonomic features on the two new tractors contribute to excellent productivity on long and demanding shifts," says Brooks. "There is only one step, a comfortable suspension seat and intuitive controls. The four-wheel model also has power steering and an optional cab heater."
The tractors are equipped with a solid chassis construction, a three-phase control system and an automatic parking brake. The four-wheel tractor offers high stability even on rough, uneven or cracked ground.
Use of Hyster-Tracker
The Hyster-Tracker fleet management system can be used on both tractors to monitor operational use. Downtime for maintenance work is minimized thanks to easy access and the low-maintenance three-phase traction motor with built-in thermal protection.
With a range of options, the vehicles can be adapted to specific requirements: For example, four different battery sizes and battery removal options are available, as well as a wide selection of tires. Tugger train systems are also available and can be used on the entire range of tractors.
The new industrial trucks complement the LO5.0-7.0T models in the tow tractor product range and can also be automated for certain recurring tasks. as
