Ergoline crane system

Move 1,000 kilograms manually

Vetter Krantechnik has introduced a manually movable light crane system with aluminum rails. The Ergoline system can move loads of up to 1,000 kilograms sensitively and precisely. The complete crane system is available from stock as it consists of standard components.

Ergoline can be used wherever goods have to be produced or processed and a high turnover of goods is required. According to Vetter, the system scores points for its sensitive handling of delicate loads and fatigue-free operation. The crane technology specialist achieves ease of operation through a new development. While conventional manually movable workstation crane systems are easiest to move from the center, Vetter is taking a new approach with its new trolley system and the principle of gimbal mounting. The cardanic bearing guarantees low travel forces from any position. The bracket for suspending the crane girder is mounted in a ball element and can be rotated. The crane girder itself is mounted on bolts. This gives it degrees of freedom in all directions. This offers the operator a high level of comfort and ensures fatigue-free working, as less force is required to operate the crane.

Manual crane and trolley travel

In the Ergoline crane system, both the crane runway and crane girder are made of aluminum profiles. The excellent smooth-running properties this achieves enable purely manual crane and trolley travel. However, as aluminium is significantly softer than comparable steel rails, Vetter has developed a reinforcement profile that stiffens and stabilizes the aluminium profiles. This allows larger spans and bay lengths to be realized. The system is available with a maximum span width of 7.5 meters and maximum bay lengths of eight meters. Any number of bays can be connected in series, for example if a production line consists of several processing machines and these are to be connected to each other via a crane system.

The crane system also consists of standard components. Vetter can supply its customers with a complete workstation crane system that can be individually adapted to the customer's operating conditions. This is made possible by universally adjustable crane supports. These consist of two telescoping profiles. The outer profile is available in two different lengths so that the crane support can be adjusted to the desired height. Depending on the height of the support, a telescopic stiffener is also fitted to it for greater stability. Thanks to the modular design, the infinitely adjustable cantilevers allow the crane runways to be precisely aligned.

Fast commissioning

No elaborate foundations are required to secure the crane system. Provided that the ground conditions are suitable in terms of load-bearing capacity and concrete quality, an Ergoline system can be installed without any problems. The crane supports can then be securely and permanently fastened to the ground using standard composite anchors with dynamic approval. Thanks to this flexible crane system, fast delivery, individual alignment to customer requirements and simple commissioning on site are possible. as
