Vertical order picker

Efficient on the second level

Higher pick rates, ergonomic working, better protection for employees: the V08 vertical order picker from Linde enables regular order picking up to a reach height of 2.80 meters without placing unnecessary strain on employees.

In many warehouses, more and more goods have to be picked in ever shorter times. One shelf level is often not enough, so goods are not only stored next to each other, but also on top of each other. Up to a height of 1.60 meters, it is quite easy to work with a mid-stroke order picker. However, as soon as the height exceeds this, working becomes uncomfortable, strenuous and inefficient for employees.

With the new V08 vertical order picker from Linde Material Handling, the load handling section of the truck moves upwards in addition to the driver's platform. The operator can place the goods removed from the rack directly onto the forks and move on to the next picking position. "This ensures greater efficiency when employees regularly pick from the first and second levels," says Eloïse Lévêque, Product Manager at Linde.

As companies pick in different ways, the V08 is available in two models.

As companies pick in very different ways, there are two models: the Linde V08-01 has a fixed connection between the driver's platform and forks - and the operator has direct access to the load handling section. This allows bulky or heavy products to be pushed from the rack onto the pallet or roll container without lifting. For tight spaces with tight corners, there is a version with short load arms and a load capacity of 700 kilograms (with a load center of gravity of 500 millimeters). The version with longer load arms and a load capacity of 1,000 kilograms provides greater stability.

The second model, the Linde V08-02, has an additional lift with a load capacity of 800 kilograms. This allows the operator to raise the forks independently of the driver's platform in order to place the goods removed from the rack on the pallet at a comfortable height.

All low and medium lift order pickers from Linde follow the same operating philosophy. This makes it easier for employees to switch between truck types. The operating concept includes the height-adjustable Linde steering wheel with toggle switches to control the direction of travel. The switches for raising and lowering the driver's platform and initial lift (on the V08-02) are located in the center of the steering wheel. Advantage: The operator can control the vehicle with one hand. The control stand can also be lowered by foot switch while driving.

A color multifunctional display in the dashboard with large digits and symbols provides an overview of all important operating data. The customized Linde:connect fleet management system with optional cloud solution and improved access to service and battery components also ensure greater productivity. as
