With the development of the Kunststoff-Düsseldorfer-Palette (KDP), Walther Faltsysteme completes one of the largest logistics orders in its 40-year history.
The durable pallet solution in Düsseldorf dimensions (800 x 600 millimetres) has interchangeable runners, a remarkable eco-balance and the option of double-decker transport. Via the integrated RFID chip, the load carrier transmits the location of the goods in real time and ensures the traceability of the goods routes.
The product idea for the pallet arose from the collaboration with Hofer: a solution was sought for store distribution and internal logistics. The pallets have been in circulation at Hofer since the beginning of the year. Standardization in accordance with DIN 15159 ensures that the KDP is compatible with all common conveyor systems. This ensures a high level of ease of transportation along all stations of the material flow chain. Thanks to the special base profile of the runners and the contours in the deck for stacking containers and pallets, the load carrier guarantees safe transportation even with double-decker loading, for example of fruit and vegetable crates. as
