Combilift at transport logistics

Strong on the open-air site

Combilift's exhibits at transport logistic in Munich (Hall 4 and outdoor area) range from the small Combi-CS pedestrian stacker to a straddle carrier. Also on display is a model from the Aisle Master articulated stacker series for narrow-aisle use in warehouses.

The eye-catcher at the stand in the outdoor area will be one of the larger products - a Combi-SC Straddle Carrier, the manufacturer announced. This device, which was originally developed for container handling, can transport extremely large and potentially difficult loads such as concrete, steel and modular structures weighing up to 100 tons. One advantage of the SC series is the low axle load compared to heavy-duty forklifts, reach stackers or mobile cranes, which allows more cost-effective operation on rough and uneven terrain without the need for special and expensive ground reinforcement. Added to this are low energy consumption, excellent all-round visibility from the driver's cab and three-wheel maneuverability.

The straddle carriers are custom-built to customer specifications and are available with a variety of options such as remote control. Another exhibit is the Combi-CS straddle carrier. Equipped with the internationally patented multi-position tiller head, it offers safe operation, maximum operator visibility and optimum narrow-aisle performance. The Aisle Master articulated forklift truck is also designed for narrow-aisle applications. It will be on show in live demonstrations within the racking at the stand in Hall B4. as
