Takamatsu takes over the position from Nobuo Yo, who is moving back to Japan as Head of the Group's Overseas Sales Division. One of the new President's most important goals is to continuously increase the market share of the Unicarriers and TCM brands in Europe, which are to be further developed under the umbrella of the new UniCarriers owner Mitsubishi Logisnext. Among other things, key account management is to be strengthened and direct sales expanded. Masashi Takamatsu is also planning to expand the range of forklift trucks for the rental and used truck business.

In addition, sales in the European focus markets are to be standardized in the coming years through a one-stop shopping model. In addition to a full range of warehouse trucks and front loaders, this also includes all the services of the Unicarriers 360° service concept - from warehouse planning and fleet management to health and safety training. "Service and aftersales are playing an increasingly important role in purchasing decisions," explains Masashi Takamatsu. "With our one-stop shopping concept, customers receive all services relating to the management of their forklift fleet from their local sales partner from a single source."
