Bluhm Weber Group: Two takeovers
The Bluhm Weber Group, a coding and marking specialist headquartered in Rheinbreitbach, Germany, has acquired the Belgian company Noviq, based in Gingelom, via Weber Marking Systems in Belgium as of January 1, 2020. At the same time, a business division specializing in coding was created for Weber Marking Systems SA and Weber Marking Systems BV in the Netherlands.
As Noviq is already known in the market as a coding specialist, the new division is called Noviq Coding. In Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, Gerrie Vanwelde as Division Manager and David Sterken as Business Development Manager will be responsible for all sales activities with immediate effect. In the Netherlands, Arjen De Haas will also support them as Account Manager.
Last year, as of November 1, there was another takeover. Weber Marking Systems France took over the print dispensing systems division of Sato in France. Sato France continues to focus on the well-known label printers and logistics solutions. With this acquisition, Weber Marking Systems France is further expanding its print dispensing systems division.
