Increased commitment in the USA
Blickle inaugurates new branch in Georgia
The wheel and castor specialist Blickle has officially opened its new branch in Newnan in the US state of Georgia. With the new location, Blickle wants to create the conditions for serving the US market faster and more individually.
Blickle has been present on the American market for many years. In 2015, the strategic decision was made to relocate from Charlotte in North Carolina to Newnan, south-east of Atlanta. Modern and well-equipped premises - 650 square meters of office space and 4,645 square meters of warehouse space - have been created on a site covering more than seven hectares.
The new premises feature modern architecture and the office space offers sufficient room for the development, marketing and sales promotion departments. "There are also well-equipped rooms for presentations, customer service and training," explains branch manager Scott Chahalis. The modern warehouse enables high turnover rates and short delivery times. For fast order processing, the site is connected to the headquarters in Rosenfeld, Baden-Württemberg, via SAP.
Blickle's previous investments in the American market have paid off. "We have grown continuously over the past few years," says Chahalis. The 27 employees in Newnan know the needs of the market inside out. Intensive and continuous customer support plays an important role. "With our new branch, we can further expand this service," Chahalis is pleased to say.
Blickle currently employs more than 950 people worldwide. The company is one of the leading international manufacturers of wheels and castors. In 2017, Blickle Group sales amounted to around 200 million euros. Blickle has 17 sales offices in Europe, America and Asia. Qualified consultants in agencies in 120 countries ensure customer proximity and service worldwide. The company has 30,000 items in its standard range. 8,000 of these are ready for dispatch within one day, over 20,000 items are available in Europe within a few days. as
