Automated stackers
Toyota Material Handling is launching new automated warehouse equipment on the European market, expanding its Autopilot series. It increases productivity through a step-by-step or complete system changeover.
The new Autopilot series includes electric low lift pallet trucks (LAE250), high lift pallet trucks (SAE160), reach trucks (RAE160-250), electronic order pickers (OAE120CB) and high performance tugs (TAE500). All devices cover the usual applications: Pallet transportation, block storage, high-bay storage and retrieval and towing. The Autopilot series has been developed to optimize the flow of goods by taking over repetitive processes. At the same time, damage, time and costs are minimized, while employees are available for more complex tasks. Automated pallet handling also requires less maintenance, consumes less energy and contributes to productivity and safety in the company.
Devices from the Toyota Autopilot series are available with two precise and adaptable navigation technologies: reflector-based navigation and natural navigation, which orient themselves using fixed objects in space. A combination of both technologies, known as Dual Navigation, is also possible; this enables seamless switching between reflector-based navigation and Natural Navigation. The Autopilot series enables safe working in parallel to manual warehouse operation. The integrated safety scanners prevent collisions by reacting directly to obstacles in their path. Load sensors and cameras ensure accurate and safe goods transportation. pb
