Autonomous transportation system
MiR drives even more
The MiR200 from Danish robot manufacturer Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) is a mobile robot that autonomously handles the transportation of goods in the logistics, industrial and healthcare sectors.
It has a payload of 200 kilograms and, in conjunction with the MiRHook transport and pulling system, it can pull loads of up to 500 kilograms. In addition, the MiR200 is ESD-compliant and can therefore also be used in the assembly of electronic components. As an open platform for mobile robotics applications, the robot is easy to operate, cost-effective, autonomous and flexible.
The MiR200 finds its way autonomously and dynamically: built-in area scanners in the robot automatically create a map of the driving area and the surroundings. CAD files of the building can also be imported. High safety standards are guaranteed by powerful sensor technology. Six different sensor systems continuously send data to the robot's real-time navigation and safety algorithms. The MiR200 is programmed and controlled via a mobile device. Using common web technologies, any employee can give commands to the robot. The user-friendly and intuitive interface eliminates the need for time-consuming programming or costly external support. as
