APE Engineering, based in Porta Westfalica-Holtrop, develops and builds industrial systems, production machines and automated assembly stations and networks machines and systems for Industry 4.0. In addition to standard solutions, customers often need individual, customized solutions. For example, the automation experts have developed an IBC emptying and filling system for a waste disposal company.

While employees previously had to manually fill the environmentally harmful, flammable or explosive liquids into the tanks or siphon them out, this now works semi-automatically thanks to the system with two transfer cabins. When filling and emptying the IBC containers, occupational safety, health and safety and environmental protection are thus perfectly guaranteed when disposing of hazardous substances. as
