When packaging small parts, compliance with qualitative and quantitative parameters is particularly important. Excess or short quantities as well as faulty small parts must be eliminated as completely as possible. Automated Packaging Systems (APS), in cooperation with the Swedish company Detab Ecomat Automation, now offers a complete solution for feeding, counting, checking, sorting and packaging components.

The DG Flex Feeder's feeding system uses Eurovision 5000 image processing to detect up to 500 components per minute with a size of 1 to 200 millimetres. Even transparent small parts are reliably detected. A large feed table and a parts magazine complete the system. The Swedish feeder works almost silently and also combines different components in one bag. An independent optical system ensures quality control of both small and large series. The feeder's system interface communicates easily with all Autobag packaging machines via plug-and-play. In addition to packaging the components, the APS machines also print the packaging bags. In practical industrial use, the easy-to-operate feeder works with up to 3,000 different components. as
