Electric pallet truck
Agile on the ramp
At Logimat, Still presented its fast and narrow EXH-SF 20/25 electric pallet truck, which can be used to transport pallets quickly and conveniently and which provides optimum cushioning when driving over uneven floors.
Loading, unloading, loading, unloading - when the truck docks at the ramp or a high turnover of goods has to be handled, everything has to happen quickly. Still has developed the new EXH-SF 20/25 low lift pallet truck models with individually adjustable platforms to transport the pallets quickly and comfortably and to provide the forklift driver with optimum cushioning when driving over uneven floors.
According to the manufacturer, the narrowest trucks on the market at 720 millimetres are agile and specially designed for tough applications and multi-shift operation. With load capacities of up to 2,500 kilograms, Still has extended its portfolio of low lift pallet trucks upwards. Fork lengths of up to 2,400 millimetres are available to handle all types of load carriers with ease.
Sporty top speeds
Thanks to the platform suspension with integrated compressor and the height-adjustable side bars, the EXH-SF is ergonomic, offers high acceleration values and unique driving speeds. Customers can decide for themselves whether a maximum speed of six, eight or ten kilometers per hour is sufficient or whether a more sporty twelve or 14 kilometers per hour is required for longer distances in horizontal transport with the EXH-SF 25. Still offers five different power packages with traction motors up to three kilowatts.
However, the new machines are not only fast, but also ergonomic for fatigue-free and back-friendly working. Customers can choose between the mechanically sprung platform or an air-cushioned standing platform that can be individually adjusted to the driver's weight. This can be adjusted either via an external hand pump or now optionally at the touch of a button via an integrated compressor. In addition, the improved chassis with stability system offers driving comfort, lateral stability on the ramp and optimum traction.
The low step onto the platform and optimum visibility of the fork tips offer additional safety in everyday use. An optional combination drawbar can be selected for higher speeds in pedestrian operation. This increases the maximum driving speed from four to six kilometers per hour.
All driving, lifting and steering operations can be controlled simultaneously with just one hand using the ergonomic control unit on the tiller head, for both left- and right-handed operators. Different driving programs can be selected via the language-independent 4.5-inch color display. The driver can use a different program for every situation, either energy-saving and environmentally friendly driving with Eco or Blue-Q as well as Boost when things need to move really fast.
The side arms, which can be folded in and out vertically with just one hand and are height-adjustable in three stages, offer optimum safety at this high speed. The Curve Speed Control assistance system, which is integrated as standard, automatically adapts to the steering angle when cornering, allowing the driver to safely negotiate every bend. Sensitive and optimally positioned driveway switches and automatic restraint on ramps ensure maximum personal safety.
Compact and maneuverable
The EXH-SF also helps to save valuable space in the storage pre-zone and warehouse thanks to its compact dimensions and high maneuverability. "The vehicles allow for more maneuverability on the loading area and can be maneuvered safely and precisely through narrow aisles with passing traffic," explains product trainer Maik Eckerkunst.
Still offers a choice of different battery concepts for the various application scenarios of the appliances: Up to 500 Ah lead-acid and 410 Ah Li-ion. Equipped with lithium-ion batteries and a built-in charger, the vehicle can be charged anytime and anywhere. This means that the device never runs out of breath, even in multi-shift operation, because the time between deliveries or during breaks, when the driver himself is "filling up with energy", can be used for intermediate charging. The easy and lateral battery change also supports handling with conventional lead-acid batteries. as
