130 millimeters for transport

With Fast Move, the fully autonomous ultra-flat transport robot for Industry 4.0, E&K is opening up new dimensions in transport robotics. The vehicle presented at Logimat is highly maneuverable, individually scalable and can transport a wide variety of loads.

Fast Move is only 130 millimetres flat, 600 millimetres narrow and 1,400 millimetres short. Its dimensions can also be customized in terms of width and length. The company also points out the flexibility of the transport robot: it requires no maneuvering space. Its stepless and low-maintenance drive concept makes any movement in the area possible - from turning on the spot to curves and diagonal travel. Lo-ion batteries ensure a maintenance-free, rechargeable energy concept. Thanks to all-round protection provided by two safety scanners, Fast Move can also be used reliably in environments with pedestrian traffic.

The vehicle moves loads of up to 2,000 kilograms and travels up to two meters per second. The equipment, dimensions and performance data of the transport robot can be modularly adapted to any task, for example with lifting and centering devices, conveyor technology and soon also with robot arms. Navigation systems are used to control Fast Move. Its on-board WLAN modem ensures continuous communication with the central control system.

The fully automated transport robot can be optimally integrated into intelligent, networked material flow solutions for automated production and is therefore ideally suited for transport processes in the flexible production of Industry 4.0. It can be used in a wide range of applications in all sectors and environments, such as the healthcare and care sector or the automotive industry. as
