Magspring
Spring lets masses float
The compensation of weight forces and the generation of stroke-independent constant forces are the primary areas of application for the Magspring magnetic spring in Jung's linear technology range (JA² ).
As their function is based solely on the effect of permanent magnets, their application does not require an external energy supply. Since the series launch of the Magspring, JA² has developed various options with which the mechanical adaptation of the magnetic spring to existing actuator families can be realized. One example of this is the combination of the Magspring with the highly dynamic HM01 linear motor modules from the Wettenberg-based company's Highdynamic series. In such a linear lifting application, the magnetic spring compensates for the entire vertically moving mass - consisting of the payload and the dead weight of the motor and linear module - and prevents the actuator from crashing in the event of a power failure or a safety-relevant power cut-off.
The Magspring is currently available in two basic versions: A 20-millimeter model covers forces from eleven to 22 newtons and strokes from 50 to 290 millimeters; the slightly larger 37-millimeter version is stronger with a force range of 40 to 60 newtons and is suitable for strokes from 50 to 350 millimeters. as
