Production automation

At Motek, Weiss will be presenting solutions for the linear and rotary movement of workpieces that can be easily integrated into the overall system of hardware and software.

The entire product group of fixed-cycle and freely programmable tables is being revised. New sizes have been added to the existing portfolio and the overall performance has been improved. The new generation makes it easier for users to access digitally supported production automation step by step. A new mechatronic platform is a combination of rotary indexing table, motor, controller and digital services. It is designed in such a way that the solution integrates seamlessly into an overall system and makes data transparent and easily accessible.

With the LS Hybrid modular linear transfer system in combination with linear axes, HP pick & place modules or the DR delta robot, automated processes can be implemented in confined spaces. With the LS Hybrid, individual positioning tasks can be flexibly mapped on a single platform and modularly combined according to customer requirements. The flexibly selectable combination of cam, linear and belt drives allows different processes to be arranged in a confined space. The central component is the in-house developed eCam module with short locking phases and transport times. The latter in particular can be reduced by up to 40% with the LS Hybrid. The precision is ±0.03 mm in the X, Y and Z directions. The linear module kit is suitable for various applications.
