Cross table even more precise

Steinmeyer Mechatronik, the Dresden-based specialist for positioning systems, now offers the universal KT310 cross table for testing and measuring technology with an optional central glass scale.

In this version, the KT310 achieves even higher values for repeatability and measuring accuracy. The use of lapped cross roller guides ensures minimal residual ripple. Thanks to its drive with ball screw drive, the cross table has a high degree of rigidity and is insensitive to disturbing external influences, such as vibrations from the environment. Stepper motors or DC motors can be combined with the KT310 as possible drives. A controller with fast Can-Bus or other interfaces is available for integration into existing device architectures.

With a travel range of 200 by 200 millimetres, a repeatability of plus/minus 0.5 micrometres and an accuracy of plus/minus three micrometres, the KT310 is a solution for positioning tasks in quality assurance, for example in microscopes or for surface measurements with resolutions in the micrometre range and below. The recommended load for precision applications is five kilograms. pb
