New location: Item continues to grow

Growth in the greater Stuttgart area: Item has opened its new site in Tamm, north of Ludwigsburg. The new 3,300 square meter site has around 2,300 square meters of warehouse and production space.

With its fourth branch in the Baden-Württemberg economic region, Item is expanding its logistics network to ten locations nationwide. In this way, the company aims to guarantee comprehensive customer support, consistently high item availability and fast access to all products.

"By additionally strengthening our service network in the greater Stuttgart area, we are offering accelerated and flexible order processing," explains Jürgen Kupka, Sales Manager South at Item. "Our customers can continue to rely on the high quality of our products and short delivery times."

Ordered catalog products are dispatched within 48 hours. Customers can access the entire product range of the market leader in modular systems and receive direct support from local contacts when implementing their projects. In addition, Item conducts on-site training courses to teach the basics as well as more in-depth content from areas of special machine construction and to provide information on the ideal applications for profile and linear technology.

With its convenient location near the A 81 and close proximity to Stuttgart, the branch in Tamm helps to ensure short delivery times for item components even as order volumes grow.
