Following the acquisition by Triton Partners in December 2018, SKF Motion Technologies (SMT) will introduce the new name and brand identity. With the Liftkit and Slidekit, SMT has new cobot features in its portfolio.

With Liftkit and Slidekit, users can increase the performance of small robots and cobots for industrial automation.

The slide kit moves the robot by up to 1,800 millimetres and increases its movement radius sevenfold. The lift kit raises the cobot by up to 900 millimetres. Typical applications are pick-and-place solutions or palletizing tasks. With the CEMC series, SMT has also developed a compact electromechanical actuator for spot welding applications in the automotive industry. They are ten percent lighter than their predecessors. They generate a maximum force of 25 kilonewtons and operate at a speed of up to 600 millimeters per second. In Stuttgart, SMT will also be showcasing its new IoT-capable electromechanical actuators from the CASM-100 series. These provide up to 82 kilonewtons and operating speeds of up to one meter per second.
