Compact with measuring system

The compact, ready-to-install linear modules from Bosch Rexroth are now also available in size 140. The modules with anodized aluminium profile bodies and integrated rail guides are available with either an MKK ball screw drive or an MKR toothed belt drive.

Thanks to the addition to the range, the linear modules can now also be used for mechanical engineering applications in the upper performance range. © Bosch Rexroth

They are available with belt drive in lengths of up to 9,800 millimetres, and in the version with ball screw drive in lengths of up to 5,400 millimetres. In the standard version, Rexroth supplies the linear modules pre-greased for immediate operation. The IMS-A absolute measuring system can be integrated in sizes 80, 110 and 140. It detects the absolute position of the axis as soon as it is switched on and reports it to the controller without the need for a reference run. This achieves a repeat accuracy of plus/minus 0.25 micrometers. as
