Faster on the bend
The LS Hybrid hybrid transfer system from Weiss promises up to 20 percent faster cycle times. The further development of the LS 280 transfer system with purely mechanical drive relies on a combination of mechanical cam drive and direct drive.
The modular concept means that different requirements can be met within a single line. A new development of the cam, the so-called Ecam, is responsible for the increase in performance. By connecting it to a servo motor, the respective movement profiles are superimposed. This results in both a shorter transport time and a lower, and therefore less wearing, mechanical load.
A freely programmable rotary table for corner deflection has also been added. This means that process steps such as loading and unloading are now also possible in the previously unused deflection. Weiss is also presenting its new generation of heavy-duty tables for the automotive industry; the CR700 and CR900 models are more finely graduated and offer around 20 percent more torque. as
