Conveyor systems
Rails for heavy loads
Torwegge has new rails for conveyor systems in its range. The mini heavy-duty roller rails differ from conventional products of this type in two key ways: firstly, the customer can decide whether to work with retaining clips or screws during installation; dispensing with screw connections simplifies the maintenance of the conveyor lines.
The rails are also optionally available with flanged rollers, which enable precise positioning of goods. The conveyor elements consist of galvanized sheet metal rails fitted with burnished steel rollers. With further development, the rails can also be attached to standard mounting profiles using retaining clips. With flanged rollers, goods can be positioned just as precisely as with guide rails, but they take up less space.
The rollers are robust, ball-bearing components made of steel that can be used between minus 40 and plus 100 degrees Celsius - without oil lubrication even up to plus 250 degrees. A single roller has a maximum load capacity of 40 kilograms. Conveyor lines in which the rails are installed can therefore also move heavy goods without any problems. pb
