Handling on the move
Rollon shows how robot applications can be expanded to include a seventh axis based on the Actuator System Line modular system. The complete robot moves on a linear axis close to the floor and operates a Cartesian linear axis system with telescopic feeder.
Small to medium-sized robots with a maximum weight of two tons can be moved. Tecline profiles from Rollon are predominantly used to construct the axis. Prismatic roller guides or profile rail guides in combination with a rack and pinion drive guarantee high dynamics and achieve a high load capacity. Their main areas of application are robotics, palletizing, production lines and logistics.
