Initially, RK Rose+Krieger produced pipe connection elements and pipe system linear units. Almost ten years later, the patented Blocan profile assembly system was developed as a modular system for mechanical engineering. The company has been part of the global Phoenix Mecano Group since 1987, and shortly afterwards moved to the new company building in Minden.

From component supplier to specialist for system solutions

Hartmut Hoffmann, Managing Director at the time, had a vision: RK Rose+Krieger should be a leading supplier of high-quality components and functional modules in the fields of linear, profile, connection and module technology for general industrial automation and production applications. This was accompanied by a change in perspective. Whereas previously the focus was on the product itself, today the emphasis is on application-oriented solutions.

A new managing director takes the helm

Dr. Gregor Langer will take over the management of RK Rose+Krieger GmbH in 2021. "The RK concept for success lies in implementing innovative solutions in close dialog with customers. I will continue and further expand this," says Dr. Gregor Langer. "Global trends such as electrification, digitalization, flexibilization and the topic of holistic health are a perfect fit for RK Rose+Krieger's products and open up enormous opportunities for us." The declared aim of the new Managing Director is to sharpen the range of services for customers in the future and to communicate them more strongly to the outside world. The terms "connect", "position" and "automate" will play a central role in this.

Well positioned for the future

"It is important that we don't just sell our products specifically to one industry, but are very broadly positioned," says Dr. Gregor Langer. "From general mechanical and plant engineering to the chemical industry and medical technology - RK Rose+Krieger serves practically all sectors. In general, the guiding principle is that the customer decides how much RK Rose+Krieger can do for them: The range includes many catalog products available from stock, variants of these standard components and customer-specific custom-made products as well as individual module and system solutions or special developments that RK Rose+Krieger implements for its customers. The company is therefore ideally positioned for the next 50 years.
