Zyfra Group becomes a member of the Industrial Internet Consortium
The Finnish Zyfra Group has become a member of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) and is now integrating the OpenFog organization, which aims to accelerate the introduction of the Industrial Internet of Things.
Zyfra focuses on the introduction of IIoT technologies, i.e. the connection to Internet machines, industrial robots and units to create a single information space in the company. The company's fleet of "connected" devices includes more than 8,000 machines. The company works with more than 250 companies.
"We have developed an IIoT solution - MDCPlus, a monitoring system for equipment and personnel for the European and Asian markets," says Pavel Rastopshin, Managing Director of the Zyfra Group. "The MDCplus system works with hundreds of customizable reports and charts that can be used to track orders, operations, workflows and personnel activities. To evaluate overall equipment efficiency and production costs, record scrap, identify downtime and reasons for downtime. In Europe, this system is already being implemented at companies in Helsinki, in Asia - India and China."
"We are delighted to have Zyfra as a member of the IIC. It will enable the company to share industry knowledge and expertise on AI and industrial technologies with other members," says Dr. Richard Soley, Executive Director, IIC.
