Web application for data analysis

Stephan Weiner,

Data science application for Industry 4.0

KatanaFlow from USU Software is now available as a new graphical development environment for data science in mechanical and plant engineering. According to the manufacturer, the web application supports engineers in analyzing and processing industrial data.

Models can be created by dragging and dropping prefabricated modules and components from machine learning and data mining libraries. Among other things, the product supports data pre-processing, cleansing and correlation as well as the creation of time series analyses, pattern and anomaly detection. The insights gained from this also form the basis for new digital services. According to the company, the graphical programming of data evaluations, which can be compiled from ready-made algorithm modules, reduces the effort required for data analyses. Evaluations can be created via self-service. A demo version of the software is available on the company website.
