Hanover Fair 2019
Smart solutions for digital manufacturing
At the Hannover Messe, SEW-Eurodrive will be presenting the example of a real automobile production facility. DriveRadar enables data to be evaluated and used to generate added value.
At this year's Hannover Messe, SEW-Eurodrive is demonstrating the extent to which digital transformation is changing manufacturing. The assembly of the e.Go electric vehicle illustrates just how flexible automotive production is becoming. The example on the stand is an excerpt from the automobile factory of the future, the production of the e.GO in Aachen, which SEW is helping to shape with mobile, intelligent assistants.
The DriveRadar concept is used to monitor components, solutions and the entire system during operation. The Bruchsal-based company will be presenting intelligent, scalable services for the smart factory that increase product, solution and overall system availability as part of overall equipment effectiveness. In the Smart Factory Office, interested parties can plan their production and enter it in virtual reality.
At the main stand, SEW will be presenting the further development of the X gear unit series. Experience gained from a wide range of applications has been incorporated into the design of gearing, surfaces, temperature management, etc. On the outdoor area, the company will be presenting solutions for rotary kilns and agitators. Visitors can find out about large gear unit solutions from SEW-Eurodrive in the passageway between Halls 11/14.
