Presented at the 5th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards, the award recognizes Emerson's analytics software that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve reliability, safety and sustainability while optimizing industrial manufacturers' manufacturing processes.

The software uses a combination of data-based models and principle-based analytics to identify, predict and prevent more than 80 percent of the most common equipment failures.
