Synostik software tool
Diagnosis of complex systems
With the DiagnoseDesigner software tool, Synostik offers an intelligent process for error analysis and troubleshooting for complex, networked industrial systems.
The tool provides a graphical system visualization that allows potential errors and their possible causes to be fully identified at an early stage. Furthermore, the detailed troubleshooting instructions enable the system function to be restored quickly, regardless of the technician's level of experience.
The tool was developed as part of a vehicle diagnostics project at a car manufacturer. The transparency created has already led to improvements in the development process and significant savings in the workshop area. The tool can be downloaded and tested free of charge as demo software on the Synostik homepage.
"The DiagnosticDesigner impresses on the one hand because expert knowledge is documented in a structured way and is also available to people with less experience in the event of a fault. On the other hand, the intuitive operation of the modern interface is simply fun," says Heino Brose, Managing Director of Synostik.
Digitalization needs system diagnostics in real time
Today's digital networking of production and work processes in factories combined with safety for systems and personnel are the basis for a successful company. Maximum availability of machines and systems is essential. Even minor breakdowns or malfunctions can result in high financial costs. Today, it is therefore important to analyze possible sources of faults or malfunctions in advance and monitor them accordingly - keywords here are real-time monitoring and system diagnostics to ensure the efficient operation of machines and systems at minimum cost.
Synostik offers the right solution for this with its DiagnoseDesigner. With this tool, the user can quickly and reliably analyze and document the causes of faults graphically and save them in electronic form for the system-specific test systems.
"What makes our tool unique is that the entire process route of a complex system, from its structure to the identification of potential faults through to their repair, is mapped from the perspective of the users in the workshops and on the systems," says the Managing Director.
